Melbourne to Hobart

Heemskirk Consolidated is the proud naming rights sponsor of the Melbourne to Hobart Yacht races.  We are delighted to be associated not only with the traditional west coast race but also the new Melbourne to Hobart race down the east coast of Tasmania which commenced in 2007.

Pajingo Joint Venture

The Joint Venture has supported several regional charities and organisations including sponsorship of the Goldfields Community Charity Ball, the Black Bream Sporting Body in their 20/20 cricket tournament, the Richmond Hill State School in the ‘Tournament of the Minds' Final and the local Pajingo Pirates rugby league team.

Heemskirk is also involved in the local communities through our international offices. 

Spain

Los Santos - Water Supply

The village of Los Santos in the Salamanca region is where our tungsten mine is located.  This summer Los Santos experienced severe fresh water supply shortages.  Through our Spanish office, Daytal Resources Spain S.L., we upgraded the infrastructure for fresh water supply in the village of Los Santos by installing a new pump line and thus assisting the community to access fresh water supply.

Los Santos - Annual Festivals

We also sponsored children's sporting and entertainment facilities during the annual festivals in Los Santos and Fuenterroble de Salvatierra.

Canada

Lethbridge Rotary Club Dragon Boat Festival

Heemskirk Canada sponsored "Dragonforce", a team of local nurses who participated in this year's Lethbridge Rotary Club Dragon Boat Festival.
