What's in a name
  • In 1642AD Captain Abel Tasman - the Dutch explorer and mariner - discovered the Eastern Coast of Australia.  His lead ship in the expedition was called the "Heemskirk".  A mountain on Tasmania's west coast was named Mount Heemskirk.  This mountain is part of a major granite complex associated with precious metal and polymetallic mineralisation.
  • Our name "Heemskirk" represents the concept of discovery, new frontiers and alignment with the resources industry.  The "Consolidated" component of our name is to a significant extent based on the business model using the Consolidated Goldfields PLC success story.
  • Our logo depicts a sailing ship - the "Heemskirk" moving forward on a journey of discovery, earnings growth and development.
